The last few weeks I've been battling one illness after another and so today, when I'm finally starting to feel more like myself, I am especially grateful for the sun and for God's beautiful creation.
This evening we were finally able to have the youth group in English for the younger kids in our church. We've had a break since last November so it was great to be able to meet together again, to sing songs and to learn more about God's promises to Abraham. We won't be meeting every week but every month until the summer which actually only equate to 3 more meetings.
For the youth group later tonight, we have been studying big Bible words. The word for tonight is Adoption. It's been such a great encouragement for me to think through all the things we gain by being adopted into God's family. We have one last word to look at next week - sanctification - before we move on to study the book of Daniel.
Please be praying for me over the next couple of weeks. This week I will be giving a talk at the Ladies Bible Study. Please pray for me as I finish writing it and translate it into Slovene, that I would be sensitive on a difficult topic and that I will teach God's word faithfully.
At the end of the month I will be travelling to Croatia for a week for the ECM Biennial. I will be leading a seminar on music in church so please be praying for me as I finish preparing for that. I am quite looking forward to a week away, I feel very much in need of a rest so please be praying that I will have a restful and fruitful time so that I will be able to come back and serve in the ways God wants me to here in Ljubljana.
